What a church building asks of a cleaner
A church is several buildings in one. There is the worship space, the classrooms, the fellowship area, a kitchen that feeds a crowd, and restrooms that see steady traffic all week. Each one wears differently and each one needs its own tasks and its own frequency.
The week is also lopsided. Sunday morning and any special event put the heaviest use on the building in a few hours, so what happens the day before decides how the whole congregation finds the place when they walk in.
That is why a flat, one-size cleaning schedule rarely fits. The useful question is which spaces get used, when, and by how many people.
How Green House works with a church
Some churches already have a janitor and need coverage for vacations or absences, or a few selected tasks handled alongside that person. Others want the team to prepare the entire facility on an agreed schedule so it is ready for Sunday worship. Both are normal arrangements here.
Special services, church gatherings and other events can be cleaned before or after, with extra visits as needed. We walk the facility with you first and agree on the areas, the tasks and how often, so the plan fits your priorities and your budget.
The products are all natural: vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda, with no bleach or ammonia. That matters in a building where children, nursery volunteers and older members share the same rooms. The company is bonded and insured.
Setting up a plan for your congregation
Tell us about your worship services, regular activities and upcoming events, and how your cleaning is handled today. We discuss cleaning times, access arrangements and how our team coordinates with your staff, then put together a custom plan and estimate. We do not quote a flat church rate, because no two buildings are alike.
